What are the standard fees for readers? Here's
a brief idea of what you might pay depending upon the readers
experience and demand. It doesn't take into account other professional
designation, work, educational, or extra services offered.
The
following is based on a survey of Canadian rates in 2008 for a phone, email, or
instant message reading. In-person readings are often more expensive
due to the expense of an office/space and preparation. And if a reader is in very high demand and has a waiting list, they might charge much more than quoted below just to get through their reading list! One of Edward Cayce'swaiting list was 2 years and while he didn't ask for money (people did give him donations) had some of those people paid, they would of got a reading a lot sooner and he could of always done some pro bona work for those who were in really need but couldn't afford. Average Fees
Beginner: Free to $45 or less an hour OR Free - $20 for a half hour -- Less than a year of professional reading or hobbyist
Intermediate: $50 - $60 an hour OR $25-35 for a half hour -- Less than two years of professional reading.
Advanced: $65 -$200 OR less an hour or $40-100 for a half hour -- two plus years of professional reading.
Celebrity/Unique Offering: $205
- $1000 OR $105 - $500 for a half hour -- Usually at least three years
of professional experience reading; however, they may get a break and
have less experience.
*unique
offering could be combining a licensed professional skill with reading
or a different way of doing readings or using esoteric information and
insight.
Fraud: Thousands of dollars!! -- Could of set up shop yesterday or in business of frauding for many many years.
Now
some advanced readers may charge beginner rates; however, if they are
doing this as their means of a full time income it's unlikely they
would choose to continue charging a smaller amount for their services as we the majority of us are not in session 35-40 hours of the week. In fact, most of our clients make more than we do (even a reader who charges $200 an hour). So while we make more per hour, you are more than likely the winner in making more per week.
